Barbara Gaughen-Muller, President of the United Nations Association (Santa Barbara Tri-County chapter), speaker, and co-author of Revolutionary Conversations. Barbara experienced unstoppable fires that raged for weeks throughout her community, only to be shortly followed by a wave of deadly mudslides. Something unexpected emerged from this horrible situation: peace. In this episode we talk about her journey into being part of the UN, the fires and floods, finding peace, death of her husband, dreams she had of him, and a dream she wants to have.

He first appeared in National Geographic Magazine in April 2015 after documenting a unique death culture in Indonesia. She has been through trauma, pain, and a lot suffering. With a strong passion helping children, Anna dedicated her life working with abused, neglected, orphaned, institutionalized children and juvenile delinquents. After nearly 20 years she realized that it is through helping parents she can help children.
